CHAPTER 1

The Albino white Reindeer walked through the woods, Her light red eyes glinted softly in the afternoon sun. The Albino Reindeer's leotard was skin tight against her body as she walked. Her hips swaying softly and slowly as the spirit's of the woods and nearby inn floated alongside her. Her back fur and skin stuck upright as she moved her hoof like hands down and through her hair. Thinking out loud as she walked.

"Well… This is, like.. Such a interesting place. The Cat's Eye Inn.. Where have I heard that name before?... Oh well, I'm sure that these spirit's are just passing by.. Kind of do scare me, Though…"

As she walked, The Albino Reindeer girl blinked as she walked up the front doorstep to a two story inn, It's outer walls were a tan color as it had several windows in the second floor as well as the ground floor. She had just relaxed as she entered the big oak doors. The atmosphere inside of the inn was rather warm as if it were a gentle roaring fire inside of a fireplace. A Bear skin rug laid on the floor as she entered, A Komodo dragon with a muscular and lean build sat behind the front desk. He looked to be around twenty one as he sat in front of a old Windows monitor. The Komodo Dragon's eyes had a pair of oval shaped glasses over them, Resting on the edge of his nose. He looked as if he were twenty one. Underneath his black shirt and blue jeans, His Light blue scales glinted in the soft white fluorescent lighting of the inn's interior. Pictures adorned the walls with fishermen as well as people in the military and armed forces. As the Albino Reindeer walked up to the front desk, she cleared her throat. The carpet underneath her feet felt rather warm.

"Like, Um... Excuse me...
The Komodo Dragon looked to the Albino Reindeer, blinking as a soft smile came over his face.

"Hello! Welcome to the Cat's Eye Inn! I am Komo Tashu.. Do you have a reservation?"

"I do, As a matter of fact.. It should be under, Like.. Shannon Rusa.."

The Komodo Dragon put his claws to the keyboard as he began to type, His glasses flickering along with the computer monitor. After a few minutes of typing, The Komodo Dragon nodded with a relaxed smile as a calm and happy tone could be heard in his voice.

"Ah, Yes… Ms. Rusa, It turns out that you were actually given a room by Mrs. Adin Akira.. I will be telling her that you have arrived, Here is your room key."

Komo pulled open the upper right drawer of the desk. It's Jet Black trimming warmly glowed in the fluorescent lighting of the inn's entryway. The Komodo Dragon pulled out a key that had the number thirty three on it. Handing it to Shannon, Komo gave her a warm smile. Shannon smiled appreciatively to the Komodo Dragon as she took the keys. She then walked towards the stairs and turned her head, looking the Komodo Dragon calmly in the eyes.

"Like, Thank you, Komo.. I really appreciate it. I will be in my room, So.. I'll like, wait for Mrs. Akira there.."

"Allright, I'll be sure to tell her, Ms Rusa."

Shannon walked around the corner, She then looked up the staircase and began to climb it. Her eyes scanning the walls as she noticed different pictures adorning them. The picture's were of various thing's and people, As she neared the top of the stairs, Shannon stopped and looked at a picture that had what looked like a family of five. All of them were rabbits, Their fur was all black. The family of Rabbits were wearing what looked like kimono's. Shannon's eyes gazed over the picture, stopping her eyes at a young nine year old Rabbit girl. Her father had her in his right arm and was apparently laughing. Shannon's eyes closed as she sighed, Soon walking to her room as she took her room key out. She slid the key into the lock and turned it, A soft click came from the door as she turned it and opened it. As she entered her room, Shannon's eyes went big as she looked around the room in awe. A Queen sized bed rested against the wall, Silk bed sheets and bed covers rested on the bed. Shannon walked to the Queen sized bed and sat down. There was a knock at the open door as a Rabbit with Black fur and Blue eyes stood in the open doorway, She was around the height of five foot eight and had on a pink ankle length dress. Her hair reached her waist, Purple highlights lined the outer trim. Her voice had a soft tone to it as she smiled to Shannon, walking into her room.

"Hello, You must be Shannon Rusa. I'm Adin Akira, Pleased to meet you!"

Shannon smiled to Adin as she extended her right hand to her. After a few seconds, Adin smiled in return and took Shannon's hand in her own. Shaking each other's hands calmly as they both looked into one another's eyes.

"Oh, The pleasure is all mine, Mrs. Akira!"

"Please, Call me Adin."

"All right, Adin.. The Komodo Dragon up behind the front desk told me that you wanted to talk to me?"

The Rabbit nodded, giggling softly as she took her hand from the Albino Reindeer. A soft smile on her face as a gentle look came into her eyes.

"Yes, I do wish to talk to you.. I have looked your resume over and noticed in it that you used to be a dancer.."

Shannon nodded, blushing slightly. As her ears flicked a little.

"Like, I did.. I used to like, Dance at the old dance studio in the city.. Is there something wrong with me dancing?"

"Nothing is wrong with you being a dancer.. In fact, We could use more dancer's and waitresses.."

A wide smile came over Adin's face as she shook Shannon's hand with both of her, Her long and floppy ears bouncing as her own body bounced rapidly from excitement. Shannon could feel her arm vibrating from how quickly Adin's shaking was. After a minute, She took her arm from Adin's hands with a gentle smile. The Albino Reindeer's voice was soft and calm as she bowed respectfully to her.

"Thank you, Adin. I really appreciate this job! I had lost my last job due to the manager firing me for defending myself after a customer put the feel up on me.."

Adin nodded her head slowly, Her body soon relaxing. A soft and understanding tone in her voice as she spoke.

"I understand if you ever defend yourself, Shannon.. Your last boss sounds like he's a hard ass.."

"Oh yes, Adin.. He was a huge hard ass.. He got on my case for defending myself and fired me on the spot.."

Adin's ears lowered as she nodded, embracing Shannon in a gentle hug.

"I understand, I know that it wasn't very nice of him to fire you for simply defending yourself. Shannon, You have nothing to worry about here at The Cat's Eye Inn.. I'm a kind boss and on top of that I won't get angry at you for defending yourself if a customer attempts to cope a feel on you."

Shannon nodded as a gentle smile came over her face. Her eyes closed fully as she hugged Adin in return. Soon letting go of her as she fixed her leotard.

"Thank you, Adin. I really appreciate it.."

"It isn't a problem, Shannon. After all, Those that work here are considered family to me."

Shannon nodded, sighing calmly as Adin let go of her. The Rabbit girl walked out of Shannon's room, turning to her with a smile.

"Well, Shannon.. Welcome to the Cat's Eye Inn. It feels great to have new friend's. Doesn't it, Shannon?"

The Albino Reindeer nodded, smiling happily to the Rabbit girl. Her hands running through her hair after reaching behind her head, straightening her hair with a relaxed sigh.

"It does, Adin. Thank you very much for giving me the job, I can't imagine what I'd be doing right now if it was not thanks to your help."

"It isn't a problem, Shannon. After all, You needed a place to stay as well. You are able to live here for free, No charge or hidden fee's."

Shannon's eyes went wide as she blinked. Her voice slightly high as she talked. Not believing what her new manager said.

"M-Ms Akira! You don't have to do that! I can pay you monthly for rent!"

Adin smiled gently to Shannon, shaking her head softly. A soft giggle escaped her lips as she talked.

"No, Shannon.. It is quite all right, I want you to have nothing to pay for your room and food as well as utilities.. It's the least that I can do for you. After all, It's not every day that we get dancer's and waitresses for a employee."

Shannon relaxed as she smiled appreciatively to Adin, Walking to the doorway.

"Thank you, Adin.. I'll see you tonight at dinner? Where would I go to get food in the mornings, Afternoons and Evenings?"

"You would have to go down to the kitchen. We do not have a chef or a cook right now, so.. We're in the midst of searching for one.. You will have to cook your own food for the time being. And yes, You will see me tonight at dinner."

Shannon nodded, smiling calmly, The sun outside began to sink slowly down from the sky. The bird's outside began to stop singing ass they all flew to their nests, the Spirit's that inhabit the inn's grounds began to float around outside as their soul's wandered. Adin giggled gently to Shannon.

"Oh and.. This place is inhabited by spirit's, Shannon.. I hope that they won't scare you.. They are really playful towards new employee's as well as our friend's, family's and customer's.. They are mostly Poltergeists.."

Shannon's eyes closed slightly as she shivered. A spirit had passed by the two girl's, causing both of their body's to shiver slightly. Shannon frowned slightly from being slightly scared.

"Oh no, Adin.. It doesn't bother me that there are spirit's here. In fact, I actually like them. They all have story's that can be told just by watching their movements! I enjoy being around them as well as to watch them."

Adin nodded before walking down the hallway, giving Shannon a wave as she headed back to her room. Shannon waved back to Adin before she closed her door. Walking to the bed as she then sat down on it. The silk bed covers felt rather soft and exquisite against her body. As she looked out the window, Shannon caught a glimpse of what looked like a black cat feral jump from the nearby tree as it walked into the inn's back door. As Shannon finally got relaxed, she fell onto the bed on her back. Sighing happily as her eyes closed fully.

"Well, I'd better get rested up before dinner.. I am just, so happy that I found a happier and kinder workplace then my last.."

Shannon drifted off slowly into a relaxed and deep sleep.

Okay, so it's a good story base, though you ought to use characters of your own.

You need to do a little improving of your sentence structure where dialogue is concerned. Speak the dialogue out loud and see how naturally it flows. That usually helps.

Also, you've been capitalizing letters in too many places. Capital letters are used for titles, the start of a sentence and names. Titles alongside names only though. For instance: ( I looked at Captain Campion and tilted my head. "I don't understand, captain." ) as an example.

Your flow is alright though a little bit disjointed. You need to flow from one paragraph to the next a little more naturally.

Also, don't spent too much time on physical descriptions all in one heap. Add details as the story progresses so the reader's image of the character is slowly refined and it's a mental image they have in their own head, not one that's given to them.

Anyway, that's about it!

Zucca out.
